Happy Mama Fitness offer a variety of different class styles for both pregnant and postnatal women. Whatever class you sign up for, the focus is always to bring mums and mums-to-be together and provide an environment where working out is fun and enjoyable for all levels of fitness. Instructors will always be qualified in Pre and Postnatal Fitness, ensuring exercises are safe and specifically designed to benefit both pregnant and postnatal clients, no matter what point of their journey they are at. Our main aim at Happy Mama Fitness is to help mums and mums-to-be feel good by getting moving and getting those endorphin hormones pumping!

Pregnancy is different for everyone, some women love it and cherish every moment, others have a hard time and their own personal struggles. Being a mum is the greatest job in the world but not many people talk honestly about how difficult it can be! Physical activity has so many benefits to us - it’s a fact! Not only are the benefits physical, they are also mentally incredibly beneficial to us. Did you know that even moderate exercise releases chemicals into the brain that help to boost your mood and feel good? Exercise can also help you sleep better (if baby will allow it - in or out of the womb!), give you more energy, help to remove stress and improve your sense of wellbeing. In fact, did you know that during a group exercise class, the amount of those feel good chemicals released is increased!

Tailored to meet the needs of postnatal clients, our classes use appropriate exercises to promote re-connection with the body after pregnancy and birth, rebuild strength and boost confidence. No need to worry about childcare, classes are designed to allow clients to bring their babies along, giving new mum’s time for themselves without needing to be away from their baby.
